These animatied shorts orginally appeared on the BBC's SO website from 2000 until the BBC decided to have a "refresh" and get rid of SO in 2001. The Internet Archive has a fairly minimal copy of the original page here. The original SWF files can be found here.

This archive was created to preserve something I enjoyed in my teenage years. Hopefully you'll have as much fun watching these animations as I did. At the very least you can marvel at fine Internet comedy being served in files that can actually be downloaded over a dialup connection.

This page uses swf2js, which allows us to play Flash files without having to install Flash. Please note however that swf2js is experimental and there may be bugs and performance issues.
